August

Life crawled from sea to land.
Fish bones turned into ear bones,
and suddenly we had fenced cows, horses, pigs and sheep.
Flat terrain and grass. Pastures – for the lucky ones.
Rarely captured together with hillocks,
shades and shelters from old, curvy oaks and wilderness
plus a splash of water flow.
For many kept indoors, cramped concrete at a safe distance
from food shoppers.

On the fast track to supremacy,
emotionlessness eroded the vital
sense and need to foster
wildness
How to pick up the line, unleash and unravel
the longing for free will and roaming?
