March

You are a bus,
one vehicle for microbes.

Countless passengers
riding without a steering wheel.
Some stay with you,
operating in coach parts since the beginning of life,
such as skin, stomach, nose and throat.
You couldn’t exist without them.

A multitude of invisible creatures
are boarding for just a moment,
turning your world upside down,
make the system spin and
slow down your speed.
Up until your gut kicks them out.

The journey continues,
rolls on in the everyday life of evolution.
